Reception

Deciding where to have your reception is always the number one question when it comes to wedding planning. Many couples visit numerous locations looking for the right spot. Don't be afraid to be creative with your reception.

My sister Tara, found a beautiful yellow house that sat atop a hillside. She instantly fell in love with it and decided to have her reception there. She rented a tent that was located next to the porch. It was the perfect location for a summer wedding!

  1. Katie,

This is a very pretty and elegant blog. It feels very wedding-ish. Nice going!

Here are some things I noticed:

You want to remove the apostrophe in the title (since I assume it's just plural and not possessive. If it is possessive, it needs to be plural possessive--so it would come after the "s").

Replace the green text color with a darker font color if possible in your posts and general text.

See if you can make the posting background a solid color (probably white), since you don't want to give readers any reason to stop reading and the see-through effect lowers the readability level (although it is pretty, I grant you).

Let's replace the "about me" pic with something less chopped-off looking (it looks like there were other people in that pic). Fill in the about me with a descriptive statement that doesn't go into too much detail (so we can avoid privacy issues and identity theft).

Keep up the good work and make sure to proofread!
